Frequently Asked Questions
Here you'll find answers to the most common questions. If something is still unclear, feel free to contact me directly.
Booking & Process
When should I book my DJ?
Ideally right after booking your venue! Good DJs are booked very early — sometimes 2–3 years ahead. Popular summer Saturdays are often booked 12–18 months in advance. I recommend at least 6–12 months lead time.
What happens after my inquiry?
You'll receive a prompt response via email, phone, or both. Usually we have a phone call first so I can understand your wishes and give you an approximate quote. If that suits you, we arrange a personal meeting — ideally at the venue.
Is there a consultation meeting?
Yes, I insist on it! First by phone and then ideally at the venue. We discuss equipment needs, venue specifics, the event schedule, music preferences, first dance, and any additional requirements.
Can I meet you before booking?
Of course! I'm happy to offer a personal meeting — over coffee, via video call, or by phone. Chemistry matters to me before we work together.
Music & Program
Do you take music requests?
Absolutely! Music requests are part of every celebration. We discuss your personal wishlist and no-go list in our planning meeting. Guest requests during the event are welcome too.
What music genres do you play?
I'm extremely versatile: from charts and pop to R&B, hip-hop, house, electro, rock, 80s/90s/2000s classics, Latin, and oriental music. I craft the perfect set for each event and audience.
Do you also do moderation?
Primarily I'm your DJ. By arrangement, I can make announcements — for example, introducing the bridal couple, first dance, or special program highlights. We coordinate this in advance.
Equipment & Costs
Do you bring your own equipment?
Yes! I bring everything needed: professional DJ equipment, PA system, and lighting. The exact setup is tailored to your venue and event size.
How much does a DJ cost?
Every event is unique, so prices vary. Factors include date, duration, venue, guest count, travel distance, and required equipment. I provide a detailed, transparent quote after our initial consultation.
Are there additional costs?
My quotes are always transparent and include all discussed services. Additional costs only arise for extras agreed upon later, such as special lighting or extended hours.
Safety & Reliability
What if you get sick on the day?
I'm fully insured and have a large network of experienced professional DJs. In the unlikely event I can't perform, qualified replacement is always guaranteed.
Which areas do you serve?
My core area is Frankfurt am Main and the Rhine-Main region (Wiesbaden, Mainz, Darmstadt, Offenbach). I'm also available throughout Germany and internationally.
Do you have liability insurance?
Yes, I carry comprehensive business liability insurance that covers all my events. Your peace of mind is important to me.
