This page is the signpost
You are not planning your event "in Hesse" – you are planning it in a specific city: in Frankfurt, in Mainz, in Wiesbaden or at a vineyard in the Rheingau. So instead of another general service description, this page gives you a sorted overview: which cities have their own page, which regions I also cover, where travel is included – and what actually differs between the parts of Hesse.
My base is Frankfurt am Main. Everything tied to your venue – rooms, noise limits, load-in windows, contacts – lives on the relevant city page, and every one of them leads straight to an enquiry.
Every city with its own page
Each city has two pages: a general one for corporate events, birthdays and parties – and a dedicated wedding page with local venues, timings and noise rules.
Frankfurt
My base. Short distances, many venues with fixed curfews – from Palmengarten to Westhafen.
Mainz
Vineyards and vaulted cellars on the Rhine side. Travel included, also to Nierstein or Oppenheim.
Wiesbaden
Kurhaus, Biebrich Palace, Nerotal villas – representative venues with clear house rules.
Darmstadt
Mathildenhöhe, Orangerie and a university crowd – younger guests, often a long night.
Offenbach
Lofts and industrial spaces by the harbour, with plenty of freedom for sound and lighting.
Aschaffenburg
The eastern edge of the Rhine-Main area: Johannisburg Palace and Spessart venues.
Giessen
Central Hesse with estates and barns nearby, often celebrations spread over two days.
Regions without their own page – still covered
Rheingau
Vineyards between Eltville and Rüdesheim, mostly outdoor ceremonies and limited power.
Taunus
Castles, palaces and hotels from Kronberg to Bad Homburg.
Wetterau
Estates and barns around Bad Vilbel, Friedberg and Butzbach.
Odenwald & Bergstrasse
Mills, farm estates and wine villages south of Darmstadt.
Rheinhessen
Vineyards around Alzey and Worms, very often ceremonies in the vines.
Marburg & Central Hesse
Landgrave castle, half-timbered venues, many guests travelling in.
Fulda & Eastern Hesse
Baroque city and country hotels – travel is quoted, overnight stay optional.
Kassel & Northern Hesse
Orangerie and manor houses; here I usually plan with an overnight stay.
DJ Services in Hesse
Where travel is included – and when it is charged
Everything is measured as one-way driving distance from my base in Frankfurt am Main.
No travel fee
Within 50 km driving distance from Frankfurt, travel is fully included – along with set-up in the afternoon and tear-down after the last song.
Frankfurt, Offenbach, Wiesbaden, Mainz, Darmstadt, Bad Homburg, Hanau, Eltville, Bad Vilbel, Rüsselsheim
Fixed fee in the quote
Beyond 50 km I add a fixed travel fee that is stated in the quote before you book. No per-kilometre billing, no surprises afterwards.
Aschaffenburg, Giessen, Alzey, Worms, Michelstadt, Limburg, Bad Nauheim, Rüdesheim
Quoted individually
For more distant venues I calculate travel and, for late finishing times, an overnight stay. Both appear as separate lines before you confirm.
Marburg, Fulda, Kassel, Bad Hersfeld, Siegen, Willingen
Travel, set-up and tear-down always appear as their own line in the quote – nothing is added later. Beyond 100 km or for late finishing times I include an overnight stay on request.
What makes celebrations differ across Hesse
Rhine-Main: city venues with fixed curfews
In Frankfurt, Offenbach and Wiesbaden many couples and companies celebrate in venues surrounded by flats. That means a hard curfew (often midnight or 1 a.m.), noise limits, a limiter on the PA and a tight load-in window because the room is usually in use earlier that day. Guest lists are international, so a bilingual run of show and a broad music mix are the norm rather than the exception.
Rheingau, Rheinhessen & Taunus: outdoors first, technology second
Vineyard, vines, palace courtyard: the day starts outside with the ceremony, reception and dinner. What matters is mobile sound at spots without power, wireless microphones for the celebrant and a solid plan B for wind and rain. People stay seated longer, so the dance floor opens later than in the city.
Odenwald, Bergstrasse & Wetterau: barns, farms, long nights
Rural venues bring more freedom: hardly any neighbours and often no hard curfew, but long distances for equipment and higher demands on lighting because the rooms are tall and dark. The crowd is mixed – from grandparents to children – so a programme that starts early and gets younger through the evening works best.
Central & northern Hesse: travelling guests and two-day celebrations
Around Giessen, Marburg, Fulda and Kassel many guests travel in and stay overnight. That shifts the schedule: a later start, a longer dinner phase and often a second day with brunch. For me it means planning with an overnight stay – and travel costs stated transparently up front.

I would give more than five stars if I could. Chris is an extremely competent and professional DJ. People still talk about the amazing atmosphere at our wedding, where guests danced until 4 AM.

Great DJ! Exactly the right music at the right moment. The agreed no-go's and must-haves for our wedding were perfectly implemented. Discreet in the background, present at the right moment.
